I really didn’t feel like recording this week with the news of one of KnitPurlGirl passing away so suddenly, but I didn’t want to skip a week either. So instead I just took some time to record how I was feeling, what I am working on and why.

I am so grateful that I started my podcast now. Not just because I get to share my knitting with everyone, but also because it will always be there for my kids, and theirs for generations. I believe that unlike cave paintings from millennium ago, these recordings and my written thoughts and feelings will be enduring and something my kids can look back on and know that I loved them, that I loved what I do and they’ll always be able to see and hear me when I was at my best.
