Round 4

Sayuri Sweater by Joelene Wiggins McQueen Sweater by Yahaira Ferreira

Round 4 was between the the Sayuri Sweater and the McQueen Sweater. With 71% of the vote, the winner of the Sensual Knits Knitting Game is: The Sayuri Sweater.

What’s Next

The search for a suitable yarn begins. The patter calls for a 50/50 wool silk blend. I was thinking that maybe a wool/bamboo blend, or a cotton with some nylon may be a suitable substitute. The yarn used in the photo looks like it smooth with a bit of sheen. The fabric looks to have a nice drape. To make a sweater that fits me, I need almost 2,000 yards, so I doubt that I will spin the yarn myself, although at some point I may incorporate that into the knitting journey.
