Well everyone, I’m not exactly sure what happened but I totally space out this morning. I can’t remember one thing that I thought about in the shower. I usually at least think, “OMG, this is so early,” but I didn’t even have that on my mind this morning… oh well.
Last night I didn’t sleep very well. After I finished recording the show I finished plying up my Gale’s Art Polworth that I was so happy with and that took me until 10, which if you know what time I get up in the morning, did not give me a lot of sleep time. To make matters worse, I could get to sleep so I tossed and tuned up until midnight before I finally was able to get to sleep… I think I cursed out loud at the alarm clock when it went off this morning at 3:35.
Have a great day…
The Great and Powerful Pixie… lol, not really, that’s just the sleep deprivation talking
The power of Pixie is great indeed. 😉
I just have the picture of the Great and Powerful Oz in my head from the movie… all I see is green. I must really be sleepy.
3:35 am? The alarm went off at 3:35 AM?! Holy cow! I’m at a loss for words.,
Yep, every morning. I have to get up that early to beat the traffic around here. I have a report due out in the morning when I get to work and to be in the office early enough I have to leave the house by 4:30. Also, I have to be home usually by 4 so that I can get to the gym in time for my training, so to make sure I have enough time to get back home in the afternoons I have to get in my 9 hours at the office by 2:30. It’s about an hour trip each way.
I totally feel your pain. I too get up at 3:30 every morning but have sleep MAINTENANCE insomnia. I can go to sleep easily at 9:30 or 10 but can’t maintain the sleep and wake up any time from 1:30 a.m. on and can’t go BACK to sleep. Makes for very long days. They say working out HELPS sleep but at this menopausal-ish age, I don’t notice a difference. You have my total sympathy!! Oh, and you can’t even knit when you are that sleepy because you WILL make mistakes. I hope you get some rest tonight~
I know what you mean about being sleepy and making mistakes. Sometimes when we’re driving back from the mountains I’ll doze off while knitting and when I wake up I will have dropped stitches stitches. It hit me last night about 9:45 like a ton of bricks. I didn’t have to work today so we got to sleep in (6 am instead of 3:35) and it felt good to get 8 hours of uninterrupted sleep for sure.
